Who We Are

We invite you to come and visit with us. There is no obligation of any kind. We simply appreciate your coming and would like to share Jesus Christ with you and together praise our God.

We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Our Bible Study Hour for both children (Sunday School) and adults is from 11:00 - 12:00 a.m. Parents and children can come together for worship at the Divine Service and then stay for Sunday School and Bible Class.

Peace Lutheran Church in Mill Valley, California is a community of people - men, women, and children - old, young and in-between - from different races and ethnic backgrounds - with a variety of different interests, skills and abilities - but with one thing in common...a relationship with God and each other based on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God's Son and our Savior.

Founded in 1950 as a mission for the people of southern Marin County in California, Peace Lutheran Church has brought the Gospel in both word and deed to countless people here and around the world, and is still doing so today. Peace Lutheran Church is a member of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). A complete guide to our beliefs and doctrines can be found at www.lcms.org.

Peace Lutheran Church offers numerous opportunities for worship, bible study, spiritual care, Christian education, social ministry, witnessing, and fellowship. We like to think that there is something at Peace for everyone.

Peace Lutheran Church is here for you because God is here for you! He loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to live and die and rise again so that you may have the forgiveness of your sins, a new life, and eternal salvation.

Our mission is "to help all people know, believe in, and follow Jesus Christ." Come experience Peace Lutheran Church for yourself. We're looking forward to seeing you soon.

Now that we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave us the way to God's love in which we stand.

"And we feel proud as we hope for God's glory." (Romans 5:1-2)
